About the Internship
One Green Bean is looking for its next Public Relations or Social Media Intern to join its Sydney team.
One Green Bean is an earned media agency with PR, social, influencer and content capabilities supported by strategy, creative and production expertise. Its teams operate across Sydney, London and Amsterdam.
This internship is designed for someone at the beginning of their communications career who wants practical experience across PR, social media and influencer campaigns while working with an experienced agency team.
What You'll Learn & Work On
Depending on the placement, interns may assist with:
• Analysing media coverage and preparing client reports
• Creating and maintaining media lists
• Identifying media and content creator opportunities
• Researching influencers and content creators for campaigns
• Reviewing social media content
• Preparing media mailers
• Drafting press releases and other media materials
• Participating in creative brainstorms
• Conducting social media research and monitoring
• Researching venues and public event spaces
• Analysing social media trends
• Supporting entertainment and communications projects
Interns receive mentoring from PR Account Executives and Account Directors while developing practical agency skills.
About You
• Currently enrolled in a Marketing, PR, Media, Advertising, Publishing, Journalism or Communications degree
• Interested in PR, social media and earned communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
• Creative thinker with fresh ideas
• Previous marketing or social media knowledge is preferred
• Able to attend the Sydney office during the placement
