About the Internship
Havas Red Australia is looking for a PR Intern – Consumer & Brand to gain hands-on experience within its Sydney team.
Havas Red is a PR and communications agency working across consumer, corporate, social, content, influencer and experiential communications. Its Australian team works with brands across a range of industries, supported by the wider global Havas network.
The Consumer & Brand internship provides exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across areas including tourism, food and drink, and automotive. Interns will shadow Account Coordinators, Account Executives and Account Managers while learning how a professional PR agency operates.
What You'll Learn & Work On
• Competitor, industry and new-business research
• Campaign coverage monitoring and clippings
• Assisting with coverage reports
• Learning how media follow-up is conducted
• Updating and maintaining media lists
• Participating in team brainstorming sessions
• Attending internal meetings
• Supporting the wider Consumer & Brand team

Internship Details
• Part-time: 2–3 days per week
• Anchor office days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Sydney office based in The Rocks
• Internship dates are flexible
• Maximum placement length of 20 days
Students need to be able to attend the collaborative Sydney office on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Havas Red notes that university timetable conflicts may be discussed with the team.
Training & Support
Interns receive daily supervision, morning schedules, task briefings, ongoing feedback and a mid-program check-in.
