About the Role
Xenos Restaurant Bar Cafe is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join its team in Crows Nest.
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy and well-established restaurant, supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining high kitchen standards. Day shifts are available, starting from 8:00am, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as required
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
Requirements
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Well-presented, punctual, and reliable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good communication skills with fluent English
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid Australian work rights
