The team behind FISHBOWL have created Side Room with the concept of an all day health-food store that delivers great coffee, an incredible in store atmosphere, delicious salads and açai bowls that were unmatched in quality, nutrition and flavour!

Our mission is to give people access to clean, healthy and flavour-packed food that's affordable and served up with refined style and amazing service.

With the opening of our new stores Circular Quay and Manly on the horizon we are looking for super skilled baristas to head up our coffee teams!
We are willing to pay the right candidates above award rates and have flexible working conditions!

About the role

Side Room is on the hunt for fun and energetic head baristas to head up our CBD store. If you know your way around a coffee machine, love healthy food and have a great work ethic we want to hear from you!

Your tasks

• Take orders and prepare awesome coffee!
• Consistently execute latte art.
• Continually working at up skilling and imparting your knowledge to the other members of our coffee team
• Have fun while maintaining high standards - that's an easy one
• Be engaging with your customers to help maintain customer relations creating repeat business.
• Make an effort to remember customer names and orders.
• Ensure product consistency, maintain operational standards and complete daily tasks

About you

What's most important to us is attitude. You scream good vibes, are a whole bunch of fun, have an enthusiastic, customer and team member focused personality and care about everything you do, even when no one is watching.

You have a minimum of 1-2 years previous experience as a barista in a high paced environment, you love serving your customers great coffee and uphold high quality and service standards!
